The Santa Catalina Island Company is proud to welcome Jazzy Boy Jeff and the JJ Band to the Descanso Beach Club on Sunday, August 16, 2009.

Showcasing an all-star ensemble of some of the greatest musicians California has to offer, Jazzy Boy Jeff will bring his distinctive blend of Jazz, Funk, Reggae and R&B to the lawn at Descanso Beach this Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30. The musicians’ and band’s credits cover an impressive range of music and feature performances with such musical icons as Kool & the Gang, Average White Band, Vanessa Williams, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, and Snoop Dogg. Admission is free, families and children are welcome.

The Descanso Beach Club is open to the public and located northwest of the Avalon Casino building on beautiful Catalina Island. It features a full service beach front bar and full lunch menu as well as the famous BBQ under the Stars Thursday through Sunday evenings.
